Introduction to Fine Art Drawing
With Guest Instructor David MacSmith

Meeting:   March 6 – April 10, Thursdays 10:30 am-12:30am (pending minimum enrollment)
Fee:            $150 per student (plus materials pack)
Location:   Artplace Gallery Studio Space- 413 W. Main Street, Denison
Synopsis:  Adults only please…Learning to “see” as a fine artist, composition, introduction to 2-D                         design…Drawing media including pencil, charcoal, and chalks.

Youth Clay- Slab Constructions
With Artplace Instructor Shelley Tate Garner

Meeting:    March 1– April 12 (NO Class March 29th), Saturdays 11:30am -12:30am
Fee:            $75 per student supplies included
Location:   Artplace Gallery Studio Space- 413 W. Main Street, Denison
Synopsis:  Slab construction basics with hanging flower pockets, vessels, and abstract sculpture
                       projects… Cone 6 glazing and painting for finishing processes.

Intermediate Youth- Advised Projects
With Artplace Instructor Shelley Tate Garner

Meeting:    March 1– April 12 (NO Class March 29th), Saturdays 1-2 pm
Fee:            $75 per student supplies included
Location:   Artplace Gallery Studio Space- 413 W. Main Street, Denison
Synopsis:  Advised projects in drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor, clay, or mixed media…

Advanced Youth /Adult Studio Group
With Artplace Instructor Shelley Tate Garner

Meeting:    March 1– April 12 (NO Class March 29th), Saturdays 4-6pm (pending minimum enrollment)
Fee:            $112 per student, supplies Not included
Location:   Artplace Gallery Studio Space- 413 W. Main Street, Denison
Synopsis:  2 hour advised studio time for artists working in any medium

Adult Mentoring Program
With Artplace Instructor Shelley Tate Garner

Meeting:    By Appointment
Fee:             $60 (for 3 1 hour sessions)
Location:    Artplace Gallery Studio Space- 413 W. Main Street, Denison
Synopsis:   Three 1 hour sessions involving critique, instruction, compiling reference material, or
                       technique building discussion/demonstration for adults or advanced youth working at their                        home studio. Sessions are strictly by appointment and suggested at 2 week increments for
                       those working regularly.
